These'Gore-Tex' trousers are genuine military surplus. They are made from waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex-like MVP material that allows sweat to escape in the form of moisture vapour, while keeping out wind and rain.

Their light blue colour reflects the RAF uniforms and also provides a slightly less militaristic appearance for the retail market.

So they are a generous cut to allow for layering and movement. The sizes quoted are therefore listed for a wearer of the sizes quoted, wearing any under trousers, thermal etc and therefore the garment will actually have a waist measurement in excess of the sizes given.
